Project Details: The Carlile Group was inspired by a young family's desire for a new home along the Kankakee River, one that harmonizes with its natural surroundings. This magnificent river home is designed to maximize the views from various perspectives, achieved through high windows and strategically placed glass doors that seamlessly bring the natural landscape into the open floor plan.
The grand ceiling features exposed wood beams, providing a sense of definition to the living spaces without obstructing sight lines. Floor-to-ceiling windows, reaching impressive heights, frame the surroundings and flood the home with abundant natural light.
The living space effortlessly extends outdoors, where a spacious tiered tile patio encompasses an in-ground pool, hot tub, and built-in grill. An expansive balcony, accessible from the office, living room, and dining room, offers multiple vantage points for enjoying nature and establishes a heightened indoor-outdoor connection.
To complement the natural environment, the exterior incorporates stone and wood elements, further integrating this stunning home with its picturesque surroundings.
